Damage to the fan is usually due to running continuously without stopping. Actually there is a point because the fan that runs continuously automatically gets the parts hot. If hot items are allowed to continue, they will be damaged or can affect the items attached to them.
If this happens, the damage usually begins with mechanical damage, not electrical problems. Mechanical damage is usually marked by things that can be detected, for example the fan doesn't want to spin and there is a buzzing sound, or the fan rotates but there is a continuous scraping sound. The sound is a sign that the fan is running abnormally. It's better to fix it immediately, repair it, or just do maintenance, such as lubricating it or cleaning it from dirt. If left unchecked, usually the fan will stuck and make a buzzing sound.
